MISSION:
All ‘Bout Children Preschool LLC focuses on the whole child by providing a quality preschool education in a bilingual (English/Spanish) atmosphere. Throughout each day, in both the preschool and our extended care, we will strive to nurture self-esteem, self-sufficiency, problem solving abilities, responsibility, creativity, character skills and cooperation among children and their families. We value a caring, active atmosphere that fosters an active partnership between home and school.

PHILOSOPHY:
We believe children engaged in active learning and play build a personal knowledge of the world around them through action, engagement and reflection. We believe that children make meaning of these experiences through interactions with teachers, parents, the community and each other.

GOALS:

• encourage a strong sense of self in each student
• having an environment that encourages child initiation, participation and appropriate social interaction
• provide appropriate meaningful play that is an opportunity to build future academic pursuits
• provide academics in both Spanish and English
• provide special needs children with a safe atmosphere to grow

Meet the Business Owner:  Allison M. Allison is the Director of the Preschool and the Lead Teacher. She graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Learning Disabilities from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She received her Alternative Education Certification in 1990, and her Masters in Education in 2003, both from Carroll College. She also received her Cross-Categorical Certification from Cardinal Stritch University in 2007. Allison has had a variety of teaching positions and has worked with children ages 1 month through high school.

Co-Owner: Heather B Heather B. is partner of the Preschool.  Heather earned her Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology from St. Mary Honors College of Maryland in 1997 and is currently pursuing a certificate in Early Childhood.  Heather has previously worked as a case manager with elementary through teenage children in non-profit foster care programs.  Heather is also currently the President of the Elmbrook Parent Network and on her way to a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. Heather is married and mother of two wonderful children who attend Burleigh Elementary, grades 4 and kindergarten, living in Brookfield.
